Wedding anniversary: Spokane couple mark 60th year

Ron and Virginia Sperber celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with a family dinner followed by a 15-day cruise through the Panama Canal.

Hosts for the event included their children and spouses: Deborah and Marty Olsen, of Anchorage, Alaska; and Marvin and Loretta Sperber, of Spokane.

The couple were married May 4, 1956, in Spokane. They have two grandchildren.
