NAMPA, Idaho – A Union Pacific Railroad train carrying automobiles derailed in Nampa on Wednesday.

The Idaho Press-Tribune reported that none of the five railcars that came off the track at about 9:30 a.m. overturned and no injuries have been reported.

Jacobs said it hasn’t been determined if any of the automobiles were damaged.

He said the cause of the derailment is being investigated.
