Pickup plunges over 200-foot cliff, killing driver

Associated Press

RICHLAND, Wash. – Authorities said a 34-year-old man died when his pickup truck went over a 200-foot cliff in central Washington.

The Tri-City Herald reported Benjamin McAfee of Wilson Creek, Washington, was driving the pickup Tuesday on Road 22 Northeast near the town of Krupp, which is also known as Marlin.

The Grant County Sheriff’s Office said his truck left the road and plunged down a cliff, ejecting McAfee from the vehicle.

The sheriff’s office said deputies were working to determine the cause of the crash and an autopsy was being performed.
