Carrah Goble, who was arrested in 2015 for the death of a man while driving drunk the wrong way on Interstate 90, pleaded guilty Wednesday in Spokane Superior Court to vehicular homicide.

Goble’s guilty plea also includes a count of vehicular assault, in addition to two counts of felony hit and run. Her sentencing hearing is set for Sept. 29.

The 26-year-old is alleged to have caused a five-car, multiple-injury crash on the interstate after driving eastbound in the westbound lanes near Division Street in October 2015. Investigators said she was drunk at the time of the crash.

One man, Ronald L. Morrison, 39, from Medical Lake, was ejected from his vehicle when it rolled during the collision. He sustained serious head injuries and later died in the hospital. Goble fled from the scene and was eventually found at a nearby convenience store.

Earlier this year, she was accused of tampering with her alcohol bracelet after posting bail in April 2016. She was arrested without incident in her home in Cheney and avoided jail time after her public defender successfully argued the bracelet could have simply malfunctioned.
