Miss Spokane pageant applications due Jan. 6

The Miss Spokane Scholarship Organization is accepting applications for its 2018 pageant.

An official preliminary to the Miss America Organization, contestants must be:

At least 17 years old at the time of the local pageant and not older than 24 by the end of 2018.

A high school or GED graduate or complete high school or a GED before July 30.

A United States citizen.

Female

Never married and never have had children

Live in the local franchise area for at least six months

The Miss America Program and its 1,500 local pageants are one of the largest scholarship organizations for young women.

The deadline to complete and return applications is Jan. 6.
