Area girls: Jayda Noble scores 19 points and Medical Lake edges Cheney

Jayda Noble scored 19 points to help Medical Lake (10-2, 7-0) edge visiting Cheney (8-5, 3-3) in a nonleague matchup 56-55 on Thursday night.

Jaycee Oliver added 10 points for the Cardinals.

Aijia Loffredi led Cheney with 11 points and Maggie Smith added 10.

Moscow 52, Lakeland 43: Sidney Carscallen and Gracey Meyer scored 12 points apiece to help the visiting Bears (3-6, 1-0) defeat the Hawks (2-12, 0-3) in an Inland Empire 4A game.

Moscow led 26-18 at the half and held off Lakeland down the stretch.

Sofie Schnepf led Lakeland with 13 points, Tauna Kirk added 11 and Madi Farris grabbed nine rebounds.

CdA Charter 50, Kootenai 42: Sandy Faulkner scored 15 points and grabbed 11 rebounds to help the visiting Warriors (8-5) defeat the Panthers (2-5) in a nonleague game.

Imelda Bresee added 10 points and 10 rebounds for CdAC, which used a 15-9 fourth quarter to seal it.

Courtney Lamb had 13 points and Paxton Dotson added 12 to lead Kootenai.
