INB parent purchases Oregon bank
The parent company of Inland Northwest Bank has purchased a community bank in Oregon in a $16.2 million cash-stock sale.
Northwest Bancorp. acquired CenterPointe Community Bank, which is headquartered in Hood River. The combined company will operate under the INB name, with 21 offices in Washington, Idaho and Oregon.
The sale closed Friday. Northwest Bancorp. paid $6.9 million in cash, and the remainder of the sale price was in shares of common stock.
This is the second acquisition in two years for Spokane-based Northwest Bancorp. The company purchased Fairfield Financial Holdings Corp., the parent company of the Bank of Fairfield, in late 2015.
