Gonzaga is among four schools that has shown interest in Southern Utah grad transfer Randy Onwuasor, according to ESPN.com’s Jeff Goodman.

Oregon, South Carolina and Texas Southern also are involved, Goodman said.

Onwuasor led the Big Sky Conference in scoring (23.6) last season. He paced the Thunderbirds in rebounding (6.6), assists (3.2) and steals (1.5). He made 41 percent of his field-goal attempts, 30.6 percent on 3-pointers.

The 6-foot-3, 210-pound guard scored a Big Sky Tournament-record 43 points in a triple-overtime win over Montana State. He was second-team All-Big Sky.

Onwuasor played his first two seasons at Texas Tech, averaging 9.2 points on 33-percent shooting.

Onwuasor, who is from Inglewood, California, submitted his name for the NBA Draft but withdrew it before the deadline.
