Mariners Noon Number: Mike Zunino out of slump

Mike Zunino is batting .400 in his last 13 games. He is 18 for 45 with four home runs and 16 RBIs.

Zunino went 3 for 5, including a solo homer in the eighth, in Seattle’s 14-3 victory over the Minnesota Twins in Minneapolis on Monday to improve his batting average to .233.

It’s a vast improvement from when Zunino had a .167 average just before the Mariners optioned him to Class AAA Tacoma on May 5.
