Girls soccer roundup: Chelsea Koker’s hat trick helps West Valley defeat East Valley

West Valley 5, East Valley 4: Chelsea Koker scored a hat trick and visiting West Valley (3-6, 3-4) beat East Valley (5-4, 4-2) 5-4 in Great Northern League action on Thursday. Madeline Liberg found the net twice for the Eagles.

Clarkston 1, Pullman 0: Taylen Wohl scored in the 34th minute and Clarkston (6-2, 5-2) edged Pullman (3-6, 1-5) 1-0.

Northeast A

Colville 3, Newport 1: Keren Torres scored three goals and Colville (3-5, 3-4) defeated visiting Newport (1-7, 0-7) 3-1.

Medical Lake 4, Riverside 0: Makayla Geiger registered a hat trick and Medical Lake (6-5, 5-3) beat Riverside (1-8, 1-7) 4-0. Jaxyn Farmen added two assists for the Cardinals.

Lakeside 2, Freeman 1: Alyssa Figy scored a penalty kick in the 75th minute and visiting Lakeside (10-1, 8-1) defeated Freeman (7-1, 5-1) 2-1.

Nonleague

Northwest Christian 4, Rogers 3: Sam Vensel scored twice, but visiting Rogers (0-9) dropped a close one to Northwest Christian (3-2) 4-3 in nonleague play. Vensel scored on a penalty kick and on a breakaway late in the second half. Tegan Jeffers added a goal in the 21st minute and goalie Grazielle Santos kept NWC scoreless in the second half.

Lakeland 2, Timberlake 0: Sofi Schnepf netted a goal at the 13-minute mark as Lakeland (4-6, 1-3) rolled past visiting Timberlake (3-3, 2-2) 2-0. Megan Rauvola added a goal in the 44th minute for the Hawks.

Idaho

Coeur d’Alene 1, Lake City 1: Payton Barber scored for visiting Lake City while Maddie Morris tallied for Coeur d’Alene and the cross-town 5A Inland Empire League foes settled for a 1-1 tie.
