Area college basketball: Nate Pryor scores 27 as North Idaho defeats Snow College

Nate Pryor poured in 27 points and North Idaho topped Snow 68-58 Friday at the Fiesta Bowl Junior College Shootout in Mesa, Arizona.

Alphonso Anderson added 13 points and nine rebounds for the Cardinals (10-1), who will play Central Arizona Saturday.

Brayden Johnson tallied 13 points and seven rebounds for the Badgers (13-2).

College women

Katelyn Ostrowski made a layup with 3 seconds remaining as CC Spokane (9-1) defeated Everett at the Skagit Valley Tournament in Mount Vernon, Washington.

Jessica Olson scored 23 points to lead the Sasquatch (9-1), who will play Bellevue on Saturday.

Hannah Hezekiah led Everett (4-8) with 26 points.

NIC 70, Yakima Valley 63: Alivia Williams scored 15 points and Keara Simpson tacked on 14 points and 16 rebounds as the Cardinals (9-2) defeated the Yaks (9-2) at the Lower Columbia Tournament in Longview, Washington.

Halle Eborall chipped 13 points and five assists for NIC. The Cardinals will match up with Lower Columbia on Saturday.

Nicole Rasmussen notched a game-high 17 points for Yakima Valley.
