10 under $10: ’90s Nostalgia Film Series shows ‘Thelma & Louise’

3. Try Taiko – Japanese drumming 11 a.m., Saturday, Salem Lutheran Church, 1428 W. Broadway Ave. Come try Taiko, a Japanese style of drumming. Spokane Taiko is a non-profit organization founded in 1997 that seeks to build community and create awareness through the traditional music, and especially rhythms, of Japan. For ages 16 and older. 8. Adventuring with Kids 7 p.m., Thursday, Mountain Gear, 2002 N. Division St. Glacier National Park in Montana is a gleaming jewel with plenty of appeal for kids and adults alike, but it can be a daunting challenge as well. Come join Spokane’s Harley and Abby McAllister for a slideshow and discussion celebrating the launch of the latest in their Adventuring with Kids book series, “Glacier National Park: Adventuring with Kids!” (509) 340-1151. 9. A Roof Raisin’ Barn Dance 7 p.m., Saturday, Greenbluff Grange Hall, 9809 E. Greenbluff Road. A fundraiser to help with a makeover in Sept. Spaghetti Dinner provided by the Green Bluff United Methodist Chuch begins at 5:30 p.m. Enjoy a barn dance and silent auction upstairs. Admission: $5-$10.

10. Arbor Crest Summer Concert Series Arbor Crest Wine Cellars, 4705 N. Fruit Hill Road. Sunday: Grand Avenue, classic covers. Thursday: Son of Brad, rock.
