Man arrested after allegedly stabbing brother

A 44-year-old man was arrested Tuesday night for allegedly stabbing his older brother during a physical altercation.

Dominic M. Canady, 44, was charged with second-degree domestic violence after allegedly stabbing his brother, who was reportedly intoxicated, at their apartment on the 3000 block of East Upriver Drive.

Spokane police described the alleged stabbing as a “nearly fatal incident”. The victim, who wasn’t identified, was transported to the hospital with unknown injuries.
