Prep softball: Makayla Marshall drives in two to help University top Lewis and Clark
University 3, Lewis and Clark 2: Makayla Marshall went 2 for 3 with two RBIs and the Titans (11-1) topped the visiting Tigers (6-6) on Monday. Tammya Campbell struck out nine in a complete game for UHi. Kylie Pester struck out 11 and Jasmine Ereaux homered for LC.
Central Valley 15, Gonzaga Prep 5: Julia Andrews went 3 for 3 with a grand slam and six RBIs and the Bears (10-2) beat the visiting Bullpups (3-9). Sarah Burley went 3 for 3 with two runs for Gonzaga Prep.
Mt. Spokane 18, North Central 2: Linzee Thompson went 4 for 4 with two home runs and the visiting Wildcats (9-1) beat the Indians (0-9). Sydney Wiyrick went the distance in the circle and added three hits for Mt. Spokane.
Shadle Park 19, Rogers 1: Emalyn Green went 4 for 5 with four RBIs and three runs and the visiting Highlanders (7-3) beat the Pirates (0-9) in a Greater Spokane League game on Monday. Chloe Flerchinger tossed a one-hitter for Shadle Park – a solo home run for Jaelynn Proctor in the first inning.
Mead 13, Ferris 1: Makayla Williams tossed a no-hitter with five strikeouts and the Panthers (6-6) defeated the visiting Saxons (3-9) on Monday. Williams went 1 for 2 with a double, walked twice and scored twice while Sadie Bocook went 2 for 3 with an RBI.

Lakeside 24, Newport 3: Brie Frazier homered, Mackenzie Nine added three doubles and the visiting Eagles (10-0) beat the Grizzlies (0-9) on Monday. Jade Christiansen pitched a complete game for Lakeside. Chloe Walker went 2 for 3 with two doubles for Newport.

Colville 9, Chewelah 1: Keyla Luiten went 4 for 4 with two RBIs and the Indians (9-3) beat the visiting Cougars (11-4) in the first game of a nonleague doubleheader.
Colville 7, Chewelah 4: Hanna Worrell went 2 for 3 with two RBIs and the Indians (10-3) swept the visiting Cougars (11-5). Kennedy Robison went 3 for 4 with two runs for Chewelah.
