Car crashes into power pole, causes outages

A car toppled a power pole outside Spokane’s southeastern city limits early Thursday morning, according to Spokane County Fire District 8.

The crash occurred at Glenrose Road and Marie Lane near the Morning Star Boys Ranch. There were minor injuries, the fire district reported.

Avista reported power outages in the area affecting 150 customers.
