Young woman robbed, beaten early Thursday morning in Hillyard, three suspects arrested
A young woman was robbed and attacked early Thursday morning when she went to pick up a friend in Hillyard.
Just before 3:30 a.m., a young woman called 911 to report she had been robbed near East Broad Avenue and North Haven Street, according to a news release from the Spokane Police Department.
The victim said she went to pick up a friend at a nearby house, but when she got inside the residence, a group of intoxicated people “jumped” her.
She told police she was punched in the face by multiple people and her purse was stolen.
Officers arrived on scene and quickly located three suspects near North Greene Street and East Wabash Avenue.
Patrick O. Conners, 22, Karrina M. Conners, 24, and Jazzmin L. Canipe, 21, were arrested and charged with first-degree robbery and three counts of second-degree theft.
