Louis R. Walter was cited for negligent driving in the second degree after wrecking his pickup early Wednesday morning, according to the Washington State Patrol.

Tyler is an unincorporated community just south of Medical Lake in Spokane County.

Walter’s Ford F150 pickup was driving east on I-90 when it drifted off the road to the right, according to WSP. Walter then over-corrected across both lanes, hitting the median before over-correcting a third time back to the right, WSP said. The truck then rolled multiple times into the median.

Walter was taken to Deaconess Hopsital to be treated for his injuries. Drugs or alcohol were not factors in the crash. WSP indicated it’s unknown if Walter wore a seat belt at the time of the crash.
