‘Phil Collins Story’ docuconcert to celebrate music artist Wednesday at Northern Quest
“The Phil Collins Story” looks to not only bring the iconic music of the man behind songs like “In the Air Tonight” and “Against All Odds (Take a Look at Me Now)” to life, but his legendary story as well.
From the creators of similar productions like “The Simon & Garfunkel Story” and “R.E.S.P.E.C.T. – The Aretha Franklin Story,” the docuconcert looks to immerse the audience in a full experience dedicated to the English singer, drummer and songwriter.
Collins’ career took him to many areas of musical exploration. He joined Genesis as their drummer in 1970 and became lead singer in 1975, resulting in hits like “That’s All,” “Invisible Touch,” and “In Too Deep.” With his solo career, Collins found hits of his own through “One More Night,” “Another Day in Paradise,” “Take Me Home” and more.
He also produced Academy Award-wining compositions for Disney films like Tarzan and Brother Bear, resulting in songs like “You’ll Be in My Heart” and “On My Way.”
“The Phil Collins Story” will pay tribute to Collins on Wednesday at Northern Quest Resort & Casino. Tickets starting at $27.79 can be purchased through the venue’s website.
