17-year-old runaway found safe

A 17-year-old girl who went missing after running away Wednesday night from her Spokane home was found safe, according to the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office Thursday night. 

The sheriff’s office asked for the public’s help Wednesday in locating Delilah G. King, who was seen on home security video leaving her residence, located near 61st Avenue and Assembly Road by Geiger Heights, on foot at about 9:30 p.m. Wednesday, the sheriff’s office said in a news release. 

The sheriff’s office did not say where she was found Thursday.
