Kevin: Hold Reporters Accountable

Kevin Richert, IdahoED NEWS (RE: "Outsider" named top Idaho reporter): One of the most gratifying parts of this new job -- aside from the education in K-12 policy -- has been to build some new partnerships with the Idaho media, and to build on some long-standing relationships. And thank you, too, Sisyphus. I know you were more than skeptical at the start, but you're giving us a fair shot. I hope we're earning readers' trust, but I fully realize this is a day-to-day undertaking. I think any news consumer should read and watch their news critically, insist on transparent, objective journalism and hold reporters accountable when they come up short. I think any reporter ought to be willing to work under those ground rules.

Question: What do you, as a news consumer, expect from this blog and other media that bring you the news?
