Late endorsements just in

Spokane Mayor David Condon endorsed Ozzie Knezovich for sheriff, which is not hugely surprising but interesting for a couple of wrinkles. First Knezovich's main law enforcing area is outside the Spokane city limits and Condon has his own police chief for things inside those lines. Second, sheriff is a partisan office and mayor is not, although Condon and Knezovich are both Republicans.

U.S. Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers endorsed Alene Lindstrand, the challenger for county auditor who is running against incumbent Vicky Dalton. But McMorris Rodgers and Lindstrand are both Republicans, so not a huge surprise there, either.
