Andrew White, Tyus Battle lead Syracuse over No. 9 Virginia 66-62

Tyus Battle had a career-high 23 points and Andrew White also had 23 as Syracuse rallied past No. 9 Virginia 66-62 on Saturday, its second win over a ranked team in eight days. Syracuse (15-9, 7-4 Atlantic Coast Conference) extended its winning streak to four games and remained in the hunt for the postseason.

Phil Forte helps Oklahoma State top No. 7 West Virginia 82-75

Phil Forte scored all 13 of his points in the second half to lead Oklahoma State to an 82-75 victory over No. 7 West Virginia on Saturday. The Cowboys (15-8, 4-6 Big 12) have the league’s longest current winning streak at five after No. 2 Baylor and No. 3 Kansas both lost on Saturday. West Virginia (18-5, 6-4) had a chance to move into a second-place tie with Baylor but couldn’t match Forte’s production down the stretch. Forte scored nine points over the final 5 minutes.

Coach K returns, No. 21 Duke beats Pitt 72-64

Grayson Allen scored 18 of his 21 points in the second half, and No. 21 Duke beat Pittsburgh 72-64 on Saturday in coach Mike Krzyzewski’s return after a four-week break following back surgery. Amile Jefferson added 15 points, freshman Jayson Tatum had 12 and Luke Kennard added 10 to help the Blue Devils (18-5, 6-4 Atlantic Coast Conference) win their third straight.

Kansas State hands No. 2 Baylor second straight loss

Kamau Stokes scored 15 points and Kansas State held off a late rally to hand No. 2 Baylor its first home loss of the season, 56-54 on Saturday. Stokes made both of the Wildcats’ field goals in the final 6:29, including a baseline jumper with 1:40 to go off an inbounds pass with 1 second left on the shot clock that made it 55-51.

Tyler Dorsey scored 23 points, including six 3-pointers, and No. 13 Oregon snapped Arizona’s 15-game winning streak with a decisive 85-58 victory over the fifth-ranked Wildcats on Saturday. Dillon Brooks added 18 points and four 3s as the Ducks (21-3, 10-1 Pac-12) extended their home winning streak to 40 games, an ongoing school record.
