Mr. And Mrs. Mahon Spokane

Edward Leon and Betty Ellen Mahon, Spokane, recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a surprise family dinner at Patsy Clark’s. They were also given a trip to Hawaii, which they will take later.

Hosts for the event were their children: Karen Kay and her husband, D. Eugene Goben, Spokane; Robert Alan Mahon, Long Beach, Calif.; and Jerry Lee Mahon and Kathi Simpson, Everett.

Married Jan. 1, 1945, in San Diego, the couple have one great-granddaughter.
