Hints From Heloise

King Features Syndicate

Dear Heloise: Every woman I know has trouble with pantyhose fitting properly.

The best solution is to keep a pair of rubber gloves in your pantyhose drawer. After putting the hose on, put on a rubber glove and start at the ankles and work your way up to the top. The pantyhose will fit and feel wonderful. - Jackie Strange, Arlington, Va.

Other uses for magnets: Great for picking up dropped straight pins, tacks, etc. Adhere to the back of small picture frames for the fridge.

Glue to the front of a gas cap so it will stick to the car when filling the gas tank.

Make a small Clean/Dirty sign and glue to a magnet, then put on the front of the dishwasher to keep track of the status of the dishes.

Put a spare magnet in your junk drawer to keep safety pins, paper clips and other small metal items together.
