Dear Heloise: I just hung a prepasted border in the bathroom by myself and in doing so came up with a hint that I found helpful and thought your readers might want to try.

As you know, the average border is 15 feet long and when wet it can be somewhat cumbersome for one person to hang. I prewet my border and placed it in a plastic grocery bag, hung it on my arm, got on my ladder and pulled it out of the bag as I went along. There was no mess whatsoever.
