Tony Furtado At Panida The Tony

Furtado Band is returning to Sandpoint’s Panida Theater for what is sure to be a hit show on Saturday at 8 p.m.

The band’s last appearance in Sandpoint, in February, sold out. Furtado, who plays the slide guitar, is on tour to promote his fifth album for Rounder Records, “Roll My Blues Away.”

Other members of the acoustic group include Dirk Powell playing the fiddle, Billy Rich on bass, conga player Kester Smith and drummer Dave Watts.

Tickets are $10 in advance (or $12 at the door), available in Sandpoint at The ShowRoom, Jumpin’ Joe’s, Java Adagio, Sandpoint Music and Monarch Mountain Coffee.
