Stars of the science show “Newton’s Apple” will appear at 12:15 and 2:05 p.m. on Sunday. A variety of dance and martial arts exhibitions will fill the rest of the time.

The Pacific Science Center will present four interactive workshops. “Super Cool Science Show” will be shown at 10:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Saturday, and at 1:15 p.m. on Sunday. “What’s in a Game” will be presented at 1 and 5 p.m. on Saturday, and 4 p.m. on Sunday. “Math Magic” will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, and “The Physics of Sports” will be shown at 11:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Saturday, and at 3 p.m. Sunday.

Also during the weekend, professionals will read children’s books in The Story Bus, an STA bus. A movement and dance area will feature martial arts, dancing, gymnastics and other activities.

Kindercare Learning Centers will provide free child care for workshops and “parent breaks.”

Some area organizations exhibiting at the fair include the Children’s Museum, the Crisis Pregnancy Center, area hospitals, Excelsior Youth Center, KREM-TV, the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Planned Parenthood, the Spokane AIDS Network, The Vanessa Behan Crisis Nursery and the YMCA.

Event hours are from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and from noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday. Admission to the fair only is $2 for adults and children 12 and under are free.
