“Survivor” host Jeff Probst has been talking to reporters about different installments of the reality show for so long that he knows all the answers almost without being asked the questions. The newest twist, though, is getting to chat about his love life.

Probst, 42, has been dating a former contestant, 24-year-old Julie Berry, since her run on “Survivor: Vanuatu” came to a close last year.

“It’s going great. It’s definitely set a new standard for me in terms of what I want from a relationship and I hope that this is the last time I ever consider it,” he says.

The couple were apart while Probst shot the latest “Survivor” installment in Palau, which debuts tonight on CBS.

But he doesn’t rule out the possibility that she will be able to join him on future locations.

“You never know where things are going to lead, but I definitely am in love,” he gushes.

It’s official: Michael’s a sick man

Michael Jackson was rushed to a hospital Tuesday after being struck down by influenza, forcing the postponement of his child molestation trial for a week.

The 46-year-old singer took ill while being driven to court to watch lawyers question prospective jurors.

Judge Rodney Melville, noting that several potential jurors also had been struck down by a similar bug, adjourned the trial until next Tuesday.

J.Lo laid low

Days after performing a duet with husband Marc Anthony at the Grammy Awards show, Jennifer Lopez has canceled a European trip due to illness.

Lopez had been scheduled to attend the British charity premiere of her movie “Shall We Dance?” with co-star Richard Gere on Wednesday, and to appear on several TV shows to promote her upcoming album, “Rebirth.”

More pill problems for Perry

Former “Friends” star Matthew Perry is back home after a brief hospital stay due to what his publicist called a bad reaction to prescription medicine.

In 1997, Perry voluntarily checked into a treatment center to battle an addiction to prescription painkillers.

Forty mil? That’s an eye-opener

Ashley Olsen is suing the National Enquirer for $40 million in damages over a story alleging that she was involved in a drug scandal.

The lawsuit said that while a story in the National Enquirer’s Feb. 21 issue doesn’t refer to her using or selling drugs, it implied that Olsen was doing so with a misleading headline and cover picture depicting the actress with her eyes half-shut.

So, will Rock get off?

Kid Rock was arrested Wednesday by Nashville police on charges that he punched a disc jockey at a strip club.

The 34-year-old rapper reportedly thought the DJ had insulted a friend of his and demanded an apology. When he refused, Rock hit him twice in the face, police said.

Rock was released after posting a $3,000 bond on a charge of simple assault, a misdemeanor punishable by up to a year in jail.
