“Proof” – The North Idaho College Theater Department’s winter production continues today at 7:30 p.m. in Boswell Hall’s Schuler Auditorium. Additional performances Thursday-Feb. 26. Due to adult language the play is recommended for adult audiences. Information: 769-3220.

“A Woman of Independent Means” This play, written by Elizabeth Forsythe Hailey, and directed by Jack Bannon, will be performed today at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday at 1 p.m. This is a benefit for the Coeur d’Alene Women’s Center children’s counseling center. $25. Tickets: 667-1323.

Steel Guitar Benefit Concert and Jam 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Lake City Senior Center, 1916 Lakewood Drive. This is to help cover medical costs for Don Parks, a well-known area steel guitarist and good friend of many Northwest Musicians. Potluck lunch, craft sale and bake sale. Women in Jazz As part of the Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival, the film “Strange Fruit,” which explores the origins and legacy of Billie Holiday’s signature song, will be screened at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Borah Theater in the Student Union Building at the University of Idaho.
