Blood drive planned

Country Homes Christian Church, 8415 N. Wall St., is hosting a North Side community blood drive Friday from 1 to 4 p.m.

Anyone wishing to make a donation should drink plenty of liquids that day and eat a nutritious meal two to four hours before donating. Eligible donors will receive an Inland Northwest Blood Center T-shirt.

Reiki healing classes

Ancient Traditions Community Church, 1928 E. Rich Ave., is presenting a Reiki healing class on Friday, next Saturday and Aug. 7 from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m.

Taylore Vance of Cosmic Energetic Healing will conduct the classes, which will teach the healing technique, developed in 1850.

Anyone wishing to attend just the first class may attend for free. The second class by itself is $125. The third class by itself is $150.

To attend all three classes, the cost is $200.

Group to lead worship

Central Lutheran Church, 512 S. Bernard St., is presenting Youth Encounter’s Captive Free Northwest to lead its worship service Sunday at 9:30 a.m.
