‘Simpsons,’ ‘King of Hill’ renewed

Fox has renewed its long-running animated series “The Simpsons” and “King of the Hill.”

The network has ordered two more seasons of “The Simpsons” – its 18th and 19th – and one more of redneck comedy “King of the Hill,” its 11th.

“The Simpsons,” the longest-running comedy on the air, will celebrate its 400th episode in May 2007.
