Passover Seder

Congregation Beth Haverim and Congregation Ner Tamid are joining together to host a community Passover Seder on April 7 at 4 p.m., led by Beth Haverim’s student rabbi, Joe Hample.

Good works tour

Anyone interested in finding out about the work done by Catholic Charities is invited to tour the House of Charity, St. Margaret’s Shelter and St. Anne’s Children and Family Center.

The tour will run from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Thursday.

Concert tour

The Trinity Lutheran College Touring Ensemble will perform in concert at 6 p.m. today at St. Luke Lutheran Church, 9706 N. Division St.

A dinner will precede the performance at 5 p.m. The cost is $5.

The ensemble also will perform during the 8:30 a.m. worship service Sunday at St. Luke as well as at the 10:30 a.m. worship service Sunday at Central Lutheran Church, 512 S. Bernard St.

Unity beliefs

The Rev. Diedre Ashmore of Unity Church will host a discussion of Unity’s Five Basic Principles next Saturday from 1 to 4 p.m. at the church, at 29th Avenue and Bernard Street.

Buddhism lecture

Guest speakers from the Seattle Betsuin Temple will give a free lecture to the public today from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Spokane Buddhist Temple, 927 S. Perry St.

The lecture is titled “From Shakyamuni to Shinran: Tracing the Historical and Philosophical Development of Pureland Buddhism.”

‘The Secret’

The Unity Center of North Spokane will host a showing of the documentary/self-help film “The Secret” at 1 p.m. today at the center, 4123 E. Lincoln Road.

The film will be followed by a question-and-answer session. Admission is by donation.
