Katy Bassen exchanged wedding vows with Michael Beck in a June 16 ceremony at the Unitarian Universalist Church.

Gerry and Debbie Bassen, Spokane, are the parents of the bride. The groom is the son of Marilyn Beck, Cheney.

A reception was held at the wedding site. The couple are living in Cheney after a honeymoon in Oahu, Hawaii.

A graduate of Spokane Community College, the bride works as an office assistant for Spokane County. The groom is a mental health technician at Eastern State Hospital in Medical Lake.
