‘Grey’s,’ ‘Lost’ will end season with two-hour finales
ABC will squeeze an additional episode out of two of its top hits in this strike-shortened spring season.
“Grey’s Anatomy “and “Lost” will end their seasons with two-hour finales. “Grey’s” will wind up on May 22, while “Lost “will be bumped that night but return a week later, on May 29.
The network’s other Thursday show, “Ugly Betty,” will have its season finale May 22.
CBS sets summer sked
CBS has announced a summer schedule that includes the speedy return of “Big Brother,” which ends its latest season this month; a remake of the classic game show “Password,” hosted by Regis Philbin; and live mixed-martial-arts competitions on four Saturdays.
“Million Dollar Password “airs Sundays at 8 p.m. starting June 1, while the training competition series “Greatest American Dogs” is due Thursdays at 8 starting July 10.
“Jingles,” the latest from Mark Burnett (“Survivor”), asks contestants to come up with theme songs for products, sports teams and the like. It airs Sundays at 9 p.m. starting July 27.
“Big Brother” is back for its 10th season on July 13. New drama “Swingtown,” about swinging couples in the 1970s, is due June 5 (Thursdays at 10 p.m.), while “Flashpoint,” a Canadian rescue-team drama, premieres July 11 (Fridays at 10).
