How much of the Jonas Brothers can you stand?

Disney Channel is hoping the answer is “oodles,” since it’s already planning a sequel to the singing trio’s hit TV movie “Camp Rock.”

The Jonas Brothers and co-star Demi Lovato are expected to return when production begins in late spring or summer 2009.

“Camp Rock” debuted with 8.9 million viewers last Friday, making it cable’s most-watched entertainment telecast of 2007/08.

That put it ahead of the original “High School Musical,” but just behind the “High Sschool Musical” sequel.

The word is ‘go’

Already an early summer success, “Million Dollar Password” has received a vote of confidence from CBS.

The network announced that it’s ordering six additional episodes of the Regis Philbin-hosted update of the game show classic.

In its first four broadcasts – three on Sundays and a Thursday special – the show averaged 9.46 million viewers. Celebrity guests have included Neil Patrick Harris and Rachael Ray.

The original “Password,” hosted by Allen Ludden, aired on CBS from 1961 to 1967.

‘Big’ leaves ‘L&O’

Jeff Goldblum is joining “Law & Order: Criminal Intent,” while Chris Noth – also known as Mr. Big in the “Sex and the City” TV show and movie – is leaving after three seasons.

Noth’s character, New York police Detective Mike Logan, had been a member of the “Law & Order” family since the original series’ launch in 1990.

Goldblum recently starred in the short-lived NBC series “Raines” but is mostly known as a film actor with credits that include “Jurassic Park,” “The Lost World,” “Independence Day” and “The Fly.”

HBO continues ‘Treatment’

HBO isn’t ready to cancel its appointments with Dr. Paul Weston yet.

The cable network has picked up a second season of its drama “In Treatment,” which stars Gabriel Byrne as the psychotherapist. Dianne Wiest will also return as Weston’s own shrink.

“In Treatment” – which aired in an unconventional Monday-to-Friday strip, with Weston seeing a different patient each day – drew modest ratings during its initial season. The second season is likely to debut next year.
