That’s how you create some buzz

Buzz Lightyear has received a rocket hero’s welcome home.

The 12-inch action figure that returned last month from a real 15-month space station mission took part in a parade at Walt Disney World on Friday.

Leading the procession was “the real Buzz” – Apollo 11’s Buzz Aldrin, the second man to walk on the moon.

Aldrin rode atop a 1969 Camaro convertible, followed by former space station commander Mike Fincke in another convertible. Then came Buzz Lightyear in a small, remote-controlled “Toy Story” movie-type car.

New 3-D versions of the first two “Toy Story” movies opened Friday as a double feature.

Ga-ga-going it alone

Lady Gaga says she’s hitting the road without Kanye West after they “mutually decided” to cancel their joint tour.

Before accepting the “Rising Star” award at Billboard’s annual Women in Music event Friday, she said West is “going to take some time off, but I’m not.”

He’s still feeling the heat for hijacking Taylor Swift’s award-winning moment at the MTV Video Music Awards.

Jon & Kate minus cameras?

Jon Gosselin says he wants the “Jon & Kate Plus 8” reality show shut down for good.

TLC agreed earlier this week to stop filming the couple’s children after Gosselin complained through his lawyer. The network earlier said it was reducing his role in the show in the wake of the couple’s split.

“We’re going through a divorce right now and it shouldn’t be televised,” he told Larry King. “I want us to mediate our marriage, and I don’t want it to be filmed anymore.”
