With this ring, I thee rob

Lohan (The Spokesman-Review)
From Wire Reports

Four people have been charged in connection with the theft of more than $3 million in luxury goods from Hollywood celebrities including Lindsay Lohan, Orlando Bloom and Megan Fox.

More burglary counts also have been added against a fifth suspect previously charged with breaking into the homes of Lohan and Audrina Patridge.

The five are suspected of being part of a group that scoured celebrity blogs and Web sites, looking for designer clothes, jewelry and other valuables, then used the Internet to find where the stars lived.

They’re accused of stealing from Bloom, Lohan, Fox, Patridge, Paris Hilton, Rachel Bilson and others.

Hypocritical oath?

One of Anna Nicole Smith’s doctors worried about his professionalism after he kissed her and prescribed her addictive drugs, according to his diary.

The diary entries were read at a preliminary hearing to determine whether Dr. Sandeep Kapoor, Smith’s boyfriend Howard K. Stern and her psychiatrist should stand trial on charges of illegally funnelling drugs to the former Playboy model before her death from an overdose in February 2007.

Kapoor’s lawyer previously said he was gay and objected to prosecutors’ allegations he had a sexual relationship with Smith.

Fish and lots of fins

Finally, on the celebrity animal-lovers beat:

•Former “The Price is Right” host Bob Barker has donated $1 million to Drury University to establish a professorship on animal rights.
