Coeur d’Alene police

Pasquale Cognetta reported April 12 the $50 theft of a prescription and the $1,000 theft of an IBM computer from his vehicle at the CDA Carwash, located on the 1700 block of West Kathleen Avenue.

Kootenai County sheriff

Bradley Hamilton, security personnel at Walmart, reported Tuesday the $300 theft of a stereo from the business at 550 W. Honeysuckle Ave. in Hayden.

Mark Chissie, Hayden Lake, reported Wednesday the $1,200 theft of copper wire, the $400 theft of a metal blast gate and the $200 theft of an electrical box from the 2300 block of West Dakota Avenue in Hayden.

Lori Gaboury, Hayden, reported Saturday, the $15,000 theft of optics for a satellite tracking device, sent via FedEx from Snellville, Ga., with an incorrect shipping label on the package. The package was wrongfully delivered to a residence on the 400 block of West Dakota Avenue and hasn’t been recovered.

The Kootenai County Sheriff’s Department reported Wednesday the $1,001 theft of lumber from the property of Stimson Lumber at East Bunco Road and North Skid Road in Athol.

Shantell Steciuk, Post Falls, reported Tuesday the $500 damage to a Volkswagen Golf automobile on the 3200 block of East Painter’s Loop in Post Falls.
