“New Trends: Gardening and Landscaping for Today”- Presented by WSU Extension coordinators and Master Gardeners from various counties. Five classes will be offered during this daylong workshop including: “How Not to Be a Slave to Your Yard,” “Who Needs a Lawn?,” “Seven Steps to Water-wise Landscaping,” “Installing a Drip Irrigation System” and “They Were Here First: Gardening with Our Region’s Native Plants.” Jan. 29, 9 a.m.-4 p.m., Deer Park City Hall Council Room, 316 E.
