‘Courageous Visions’

Spokane’s Medical Oncology Associates is hosting its first “Courageous Visions: Artistic Expressions of Cancer Survivorship in Our Community” art exhibit Friday and Saturday in conjunction with National Cancer Survivors Day.

The exhibit will feature local and national works created by artists whose lives have been affected by cancer. Pieces donated by local artists will be auctioned to benefit Cancer Patient Care.

Also on display will be the Lilly Oncology’s “Oncology on Canvas,” a national traveling exhibit honoring the physical and emotional journeys people face when diagnosed with cancer.

The exhibit and silent auction will open Friday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., with wine and refreshments starting at 4 p.m., at 6001 N. Mayfair St. Viewing will continue Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
