Mysterious events occur in ‘Super 8’

“Super 8” – In the summer of 1979, a group of friends in a small Ohio town witness a catastrophic train crash while making a super 8 movie and soon suspect that it was not an accident. Shortly after, unusual disappearances and inexplicable events begin to take place in town, and the local sheriff’s deputy tries to uncover the truth – something more terrifying than any of them could have imagined. “Conan the Barbarian” – A quest that begins as a personal vendetta for the fierce Cimmerian warrior soon turns into an epic battle against hulking rivals, horrific monsters, and impossible odds, as Conan realizes he is the only hope of saving the great nation of Hyboria from an encroaching reign of supernatural evil. (1:52, R for strong bloody violence, some sexuality and nudity)

“Sarah’s Key” – Gilles Paquet-Brenner’s gripping, if uneven, thriller starring Kristin Scott Thomas as a contemporary journalist researching France’s collaboration with the Nazis in the roundup and deportation of Jews to the death camps. (1:51, PG-13 for thematic material including disturbing situations involving the Holocaust) • • •

“Spy Kids: All the Time in the World” – A retired spy (Jessica Alba) is called back into action, and invites her new stepchildren along. (1:29, PG for mild action and rude humor)

“The Devil’s Double” – Fact-based story about an Iraqi army lieutenant who becomes the body double of Saddam Hussein’s sadistic son. (1:48, R for strong brutal bloody violence and torture, sexual content, graphic nudity, drug use and pervasive language)
