Treadway, Weaver return to Tuna, Texas

Benefits: Tonight’s performance will benefit Honor Flight, which sends World War II veterans to Washington, D.C. On Friday, theatergoers can save $4 off their ticket with a donation of a children’s book or art supplies for the Boys and Girls Club. July 12, food donations to help Second Harvest will earn patrons a discount at the concession stand.

Patrick Treadway and Michael Weaver are no strangers to Tuna, Texas.

In fact, earlier this year year the duo starred in “Tuna Does Vegas” at Interplayers Professional Theatre.

Now, they’re teaming up to bring the original “Greater Tuna” back to Interplayers’ stage this summer, in a production co-directed by Treadway and Interplayers Artistic Director Reed McColm.

Treadway and Weaver each will play 10 of the townsfolk in this quick-change comedy that has delighted Spokane audiences for years.
