Authors Alexis Smith and Evan P. Schneider - Smith is the author of “Glaciers.” Schneider is founding editor of Boneshaker, a magazine about bicycles, and reads from his novel, “A Simple Machine Like the Lever,” now in its second printing. Spokane Poetry Slam - Held every third Sunday. Slam poetry is a form of competitive, performed poetry. Poets have three minutes to perform their original work without costumes, props or musical accompaniment. There are two rounds and scores are combined.
