Anti-Human Trafficking Vigil - January is Human Trafficking Awareness Month. Human trafficking occurs every day across the United States, including Spokane. “Apollo 13: Mission Control” - A new interactive viewing experience by the creator of “Walking with Dinosaurs.” Exhibit Hall C is transformed into a replica of NASA’s 1970 Mission Control Room, the audience is placed in the middle of the action and asked to help bring three stranded astronauts home. FIRST Lego League Regional Competition – Saturday and Sunday. More than 400 Spokane area students will compete in the FIRST Lego League Spokane/Eastern Washington competition. This year’s theme is “Senior Solutions,” helping seniors stay independent, engaged and connected. FIRST Lego League teams build and program an NXT robot to interact on a 4-by-8-foot board with missions and research a real world problem.
