Immaculate Heart Retreat Center – Friday-Sunday, Methodist pastors Anne Cronin Tyson and C. Karen Covey Moore will lead a “Beauty From Ashes” retreat on suicide bereavement. Cost for two nights and five meals is $185 per person, $280 a couple or $100 for commuters (meals only). A related workshop, “Offering Hope/Fostering Healing,” will be Jan. 23, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The workshop is for pastors, ministers, counselors, youth leaders, spiritual directors, teachers and others who minister to families during times of loss and will give participants the tools necessary to guide those who have experienced the loss of a loved one through suicide. Dog/People Blood Drive Inaugural Event – You and your dog can donate blood to help save lives.
