Summer Horse and Carriage Rides Today’s your last chance for the annual summer rides. The rides are first come, first serve, and each guest will receive a complimentary flower from Peters and Sons Floral as they enjoy the summer sights of downtown Spokane. Silverwood Theme Park and Boulder Beach Water Park 2014 Includes admission to both parks with more than 70 rides, attractions and shows. Scenic Excursion Train Rides This 90-minute, 20-mile round trip excursion takes you from Metaline Falls to Ione and back, winding along cliffs more than 100 feet above the Pend Oreille River. Presented by North Pend Oreille Valley Lions Club. The train usually encounters volunteers in “Wild West” period costumes where the train robberies benefit the Cutter Theatre. Zombie Run Try to outrun a horde of zombies and make it to check points where you will be equipped and resupplied. Bring a Nerf gun. Fifty percent of profits will be donated to the Source to help at-risk youth. Come Feed the Buffalo Tours are offered every Friday through Sunday on the hour from noon to 4 p.m. through Sept. 30. Visitors will learn the farm history and bison facts during a slide presentation and Q&A session. Everyone will get an opportunity to meet and greet the herd and hand-feed the buffalo.
