H2O Breakfast - Guest speaker is Tom Weisner, mayor of Aurora, Illinois, who will discuss his cities efforts to clean up polluted riverfront areas; implement Green Infrastructure to reduce stormwater runoff, sewer overflow events and nonpoint source pollution; and adopt a Riverfront Vision to guide environmental stewardship and economic development. Spokane Mayor David Condon will showcase Spokane’s Integrated Clean Water Plan, an effort to provide superior environmental results for the Spokane River at an affordable price. Jazzed for Justice - Evening of food, drinks, jazz and justice. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Semi-casual cocktail party fundraising event with hors d’oeuvres by London’s Ultimate Catering, local beer and wine by River City Brewing and Whitestone Winery, raffles, and jazz music by Julia Keefe. Paula Poundstone - One of the favorite panelists on NPR’s “Wait Wait … Don’t Tell Me!” returns to Spokane. Some of Poundstone’s funniest moments come from talking on-stage with random audience members and gently pointing out the crazy things we all do.
