Four ski resorts to be open this weekend

Four ski resorts in the Inland Northwest will be open this weekend after snow blanketed the mountains during the past week.

Only Mt. Spokane Ski & Snowboard Park has not announced an opening day.

• 49 Degrees North Mountain Resort near Chewelah will open to skiers and snowboarders Friday.

• Lookout Pass on the Idaho-Montana border will open Friday.

• Silver Mountain Resort in Kellogg will open Saturday.

• Schweitzer Mountain Resort near Sandpoint opened last weekend and will resume operations Friday.
