Obituary: Demars, Christen

DeMars, Christen (Age 22) Christen passed away on March 24, 2015 at Holy Family with her family by her side after she had been fatally shot.

She was born October 7, 1992 in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.

Christen, her sister Britney, and mother Dawna Bennett, shared in the joy of raising Christen’s daughter Elena.

She had many interests including writing, music, shopping, fishing, and spending time at the beach.

Christen will be greatly missed by her entire family, including her sisters Britney Bennett and Sabrina Valdez.

In lieu of flowers, a Bank of America “Christen DeMars Funeral Expenses” Memorial Fund has been set up for Elena.

Private family services will be held.

A “Celebration of Life” for family and friends will be held at the American Legion in Post Falls, ID, on Friday April 3, 2015, at 3:00 p.m. We will miss you Chrissy!
