Obituary: Knapp, Dorothy Agnes (Flemming)

Age 91

KNAPP, Dorothy Agnes (Flemming) Dorothy A. Knapp formerly of Deer Park, Washington, passed away peacefully on April 14, 2015 in Spokane.

She was born on January 21, 1924 to John and Clara (Mihm) Flemming, in Harrington, WA.

She lived on the family dairy farm and worked part time as a nurse at Tri-County Hospital.

She was a member of Gardenspot Grange and St. Mary’s Presentation Catholic Church, and Altar Society.

Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Carl, her sister Laura and her great-granddaughter Emma Hamsher.

She is survived by her sister Marguerite (Victor) Dietz, brother Robert (Levita) Flemming; her children Judy (Roy) Warnick, Stanley (Maurine) Knapp, Rosemary Knapp (Paul Hedeen), Carolyn (Dave) Nelson, and David (Kristi) Knapp; cousins Father Larry Gooley and Norma Dyer, seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

A Rosary will be recited on Friday, April 17 at 7:00p.m.

at St. Mary’s Presentation Catholic Church, 602 East 6th Street, Deer Park.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated with burial following on Saturday, April 18 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s also.
